Established in 2013 REC Assets set out to make a change in waste industry by diverting focus from recycling to reuse. During that time our services were used by a number of waste management companies and we have recovered over 50,000 items with a value of over £2m

Our dedicated team will recover value your assets by wiping data, cleaning, repairing them, grading and preparing for resale.
We have sold over £2m recovering WEEE in past 5 years, by listing them on multiple ecommerce platforms with use of our in-house custom proprietary software solutions.

How does your service work?
We collect and allow drop-off of WEEE and other reusable items from waste management companies, as well as individual clients. We aim to recover up to 100% of collected WEEE and other reusable waste and repurpose it. Then we share the profit from it with you, leaving everyone happy and world a little bit cleaner.
Can you collect my WEEE for free?
Yes. We collect most of the WEEE free of charge from London area. Let us know what you have and we will let you know if we can collect if for free.
Can you collect it same day?
We usually aim to collect within 24-48 hours although in some cases we are able to do same day.
How do you share profit from WEEE?
We are experts at selling second-hand electronics online and use our own in-house developed software to do so. It allows us to minimise our cost of sale, making it possible to share our profit with suppliers. We pay you monthly for items sold.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. We have experience working with secure and confidential waste and treat security as our priority. All tags and stickers are removed, and items are data wiped with dedicated software. We can destroy hard drives and other data containers if requested as well. You’ll also receive a comprehensive report of what happened with your waste.
